入选广东省杰出青年基金项目(2023年)、国家“博士后创新人才支持计划”(2019年)、中国科学院“特别研究助理”(2020年),并主持了包括国家自然科学基金面上项目和青年科学基金、博士后科学基金面上资助(一等)等在内的多项研究课题。目前已在化学与材料领域的国际顶级学术期刊发表论文20余篇,累计他引1000余次。以(共同)第一及通讯作者发表论文十余篇,包括Natl. Sci. Rev.,Nat. Chem., Nat.Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc. (5), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (2), Adv. Mater. (2)等。其中,多篇论文被ChemistryViews,科学网和Sci. China Chem.等专题评述或报道。参与编著关于二维材料书籍一部(英国皇家化学会出版社)。受邀在第九届深圳国际石墨烯论坛等国内外学术会议上作主旨报告。获中国科学院院长特别奖、宝钢教育奖等奖项与资助。
