2.可持续能源化学及材料设计:其长期致力于新一代可持续能源化学研究,包括高容量富硫正极材料、钠离子负极材料、镁硫及钠硫电池、铝及锌金属电池、水系有机电池等。该方向共发表论文近百篇,包括国际知名期刊Science Advance, Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Energy Materials, Chemical Communications, Joule, Energy Storage Materials等。获得国际授权PCT专利多项。其作为澳大利亚工业部首席科学家主持研发的可打印锌离子电池凝胶电解质已由Printed Energy商业化,并由CareWear应用于可穿戴设备。
3.零碳资源再生过程及系统:作为澳大利亚可再生能源署首席科学家在资源再生领域开拓了光伏生物质及废水制氢技术,设计并成功运行光热生物质重整及光伏有机物电解制氢两套示范性实验系统。
